Connecting the dots to how people learn is critical to the application of learning sciences. One way to articulate these connections is through the use of conjecture mapping. Click the image or button below to view the high-level design conjecture for the qualitative research guide.
This demonstration shows the latest updates to the prototype design of the app. Developmental tools, processes, and testing outcomes are shared, along with a quick demo of how a user might input data to create a qualitative research project.
A FigJam board was utilized as a collaborative brainstorming and planning platform, where I visually mapped out the components of the qualitative research guide, including research phases, user journeys, and features. It served as an interactive canvas for sketching out ideas and concepts before formalizing them into structured elements.
Microsoft Lists acted as the organizational backbone of the project, where I outlined and tracked the various tasks associated with each phase of the qualitative research guide development. Lists were used to collect and connect the fields of data entry that users would input. It can also assign responsibilities and manage the content creation workflow, ensuring all aspects of the guide are comprehensively constructed.
I built the functional qualitative research guide application using Microsoft Power Apps. Using the data and structures from Microsoft Lists, I crafted a user-friendly app that will enable novice researchers to navigate through the research process. Power Apps allows for the integration of complex workflows, data processing, and a personalized interface that supports the unique needs of qualitative research methodologies.
