Corpus Christi, Texas | November 13, 2025 — Third Coast Learning LLC, a Texas-based learning innovation and workforce development consultancy, announced the launch of its Digital Foundations Series, a browser-based professional learning ecosystem designed to make digital upskilling more accessible, engaging, and applicable to real-world workplace needs.
The full series is planned for release in early 2026, with early-adopter opportunities available for organizations seeking to strengthen workforce digital fluency, improve adaptability, and support continuous learning in rapidly changing technology environments.
Founded by Renée Richter, Founder and Chief Learning Officer of Third Coast Learning, the company specializes in scalable, evidence-based learning solutions that integrate instructional design, learning engineering, workforce development, and human performance improvement.
“For too long, online training has been associated with static slides and disengaged learners,” said Richter. “The Digital Foundations Series was built to change that. These are interactive, browser-based courses that use multimedia, simulation, and scenario-based learning to keep learners active rather than passive.”
The Digital Foundations Series is built around a proprietary consulting and learning design framework that combines learning engineering principles with flexible, cloud-based delivery. Each client implementation can be adapted to the organization’s goals, workforce context, and learner needs while maintaining the scalability of an enterprise-ready e-learning model.
The series includes three curated learning bundles:
Course modules emphasize real-world application, interactive decision-making, and scenario-based learning designed to support measurable skill development.
“Our clients do not just need content. They need learning that helps people adapt, perform, and move forward,” Richter said. “The Digital Foundations Series is designed to help organizations close skill gaps, increase workforce readiness, and build digital confidence in an economy that requires continuous evolution.”
Early-access partners may receive pilot pricing, onboarding support, and usage analytics to help measure learner engagement and outcomes. The series is designed with accessibility, readability, responsiveness, and practical usability in mind, supporting learners across a range of digital skill levels.

Our session, Navigating Needs, debuted at SXSW EDU 2025 as a featured program on Crossover Day. We showcased a flexible, evidence-driven approach to identifying workforce and learner needs—giving attendees a step-by-step method to determine whether training is the right solution and how to design it effectively when it is.
This work emerged from a collaborative effort with colleagues across workforce development and higher education—each bringing experience from community colleges, employer partnerships, and adult learning. That cross-sector expertise shaped a tool that meets the real demands of today’s rapidly changing workforce landscape.
